How I can help you

Most of my professional work life has been involved with small- and mid-size businesses, with an emphasis on small businesses with 1 to 100 employees.  The focus of my work was usually centered on improving business operations, efficiencies, and cost effectiveness in the information systems and services that supported the company's mission.  Areas of focus were local and wide-area networking, systems design and maintenance, data preservation, business continuance and disaster recovery, and security.

Industries served included financial planning and wealth management, health care, commercial construction, real estate, insurance, light manufacturing, and a variety of professional services.

My current passion is helping non-technical people understand CyberSecurity. I explain what it is, why it matters so much in the 21st century world, and how they can address it effectively without being crushed by technical jargon and learning that is outside their core strengths and business mission.
